We are delighted to announce the winners of the 2016 BRAIS Workshops Grant Scheme:


  1. ‘Seeing is Believing: Knowledge and Miracles in Islamic Thought’ to be run by Dr Harith Bin Ramli (SOAS) and Dr Ayman Shihadeh (SOAS)
  2. On the Importance of Being Islamic: Shahab Ahmed’s What is Islam? and the future of Islamic Studies’ to be run by Dr Yossef Rapoport (QMUL)
  3. ‘Producing Knowledge on Islam in Europe: Epistemology, Methodology, Reflexivity’ to be run by Hira Amin (Cambridge), Margot Dazey (Cambridge), Alyaa Ebbiary (SOAS), Christopher Moses (Cambridge) and Mathilde Zederman (SOAS)
